A Few Words From Our Head Chef
As Head Chef at Chalford House Hotel it will be my great pleasure to welcome you to our restaurant and bistro whether you are staying with us or just visiting for dinner or for a spot of lunch.
I am proud to lead a small but talented team dedicated to providing you with a memorable dining experience. We know that fine food starts with fine ingredients and we aim to offer the best of locally sourced produce. We aim to home-produce as much as possible ….for the best quality and to reduce “food miles”.
Our delicious cakes, breads, soups, sauces and accompaniments are produced in our own kitchens and we use herbs and vegetables from our gardens when in season.
Our cheese board offers a tempting choice of local cheeses and we have some excellent Ports and dessert wines to round off your meal.
We offer vegetarian options of course and it is our pleasure to cater for any special dietary requirements, just let us know.
We have a carefully-chosen wine list to complement your meal which includes fine wines from around the world.
Breakfast is always well received with our continental breakfast buffet and a comprehensive selection of hot breakfast dishes to start your day in the best possible way.
You may not see us during your visit but please be assured that my team and I will be working hard behind the scenes to ensure that your dining experience with us is memorable and enjoyable.
From September 2019 we were very proud to start our “Thursday night is steak night” and bring back our new and improved “Fizz & Chip Friday”.
Both nights were agreed on the back of our social media polls where we ask our guests and visitors what they would like to see on our menu – so stay close to our facebook, twitter and instagram accounts to keep up to date with our constantly changing and improving menu.
We currently have a poll on our facebook account to ask our potential & existing guests/visitors what date they would like us to hold our monthly curry night – so get voting!!
We look forward to welcoming you.
